Krav Maga training is meant for people who want to feel safe and confident in their abilities to defend themselves and their loves ones. It’s designed for real people who want to learn self-defense and how to deal with real-life threats and dangers.
It is a combination of techniques, including wrestling, Muay Thai, traditional boxing, kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, and street fighting. Krav Maga’s advantage lies in its simplicity, as the system is designed to bring students to a high level of proficiency in a short period of time. A beginning student can feel comfortable with the basics of self-defense in as little as three months of training, though many of our students opt to continue training and earn their belts.
Our studio strives to create a comfortable, welcoming, and easy-going training environment. Students from all backgrounds, ages, genders, shapes, and sizes train together, learning how to strike pads, break through barriers, and work self-defense scenarios in a controlled but realistic environment. Our adult Krav Maga classes are exciting, energetic, and challenging, creating the perfect combination of fitness, self-defense, and community.
Our adult membership includes unlimited access to all Krav Maga classes, as well as our Cardio Combat program!
Our Krav Maga youth (8-10) and teen (11-16) programs will give your child all the benefits of traditional martial arts training, including but not limited to Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, Honor, and Discipline. Martial Arts have been proven to increase school performance and help kids deal with challenging situations in life, both at school and at home.
Our goal is to give our younger students self-confidence, situational awareness, and a healthy opportunity to be social with their peers. Krav Maga is not a sport, therefore our emphasis is on self-defense. Your child will learn proper form for palm strikes, punches, elbows, knees and kicks, as well as defenses against chokes, hair/wrist grabs, bear hugs, assaults, and abductions.
Our communities are facing very real threats everyday, and it is our ultimate goal to empower your children to use their ultimate weapon to get out of a bad situation: their brain. We feel that our program will provide the appropriate self-defense skills and confidence needed so that they can defend themselves, now and in the future. Even more importantly, our program will provide the control and understanding to not misuse or abuse the skills they have been given.
We believe in teaching and instilling Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, Honor, and Discipline in kids from a young age. Our Little Warriors (5-7) program was created to do just that, building a foundation and a confidence for today’s children to grow up with and have a good moral standing.
In this program, we focus on Anti-Bullying and situational awareness. Students are taught striking (punching and kicking) safely and correctly to minimize injury while being as effective as possible. They will also learn age-appropriate self-defense techniques that will help your children protect and remove themselves from dangerous situations.
In the Little Warriors program, your child will learn self-defense, gain valuable self-confidence and morals, and enjoy fun classes with their friends after school and/or during the summer break.
Additional Programs and Memberships
Build muscle, stamina, and endurance with our Combat Cardio program! A typical 45 minute Combat Cardio class consists of a wide range of exercises, incorporating kickboxing, heavy bag workouts, circuit training, striking and kicking drills, HIIT, resistance band work, and strength training. Every class is different, so you’ll never be bored during your workouts again. One class can burn up to 800 calories!
Students will learn proper striking technique and foster the ability to throw punches, elbows, knees, and kicks while minimizing injury. From the college student to the business professional, Combat Cardio provides the perfect fitness regimen to relieve the stress of the day and provide high calorie-burning fitness. No class is the same, but they’re always fun!
Learning self-defense is an essential survival skill and will equip students with the knowledge to protect themselves and their loved ones. Hosted every two months, our high-energy women’s self-defense workshops are filled with fun and motivation to get participants where they need to be in both fitness and self-defense.
We start our workshops with an effective body-weight warm-up, followed by an overview of basic strikes (punches and kicks). We break down exactly how to strike for maximum effect and minimal self-injury. Our number one priority is keeping our students safe during training.
Next, we present a threat or altercation scenario and break down the necessary response in easy-to-understand stages. Working with partners, we make sure students are confident in each and every step. We work defenses against threats and attacks like chokes, bear-hugs, assaults, abductions, and weapons. The workshops end with a drill where participants practice what they learned and build situational awareness.
These workshops will build up mental capacity, resilience, and physical readiness. Pushing each other through obstacles, students will build the support needed to never give up! Strengthen the body and mind, and train like never before.
No experience is necessary. All levels welcome!
Ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.
